Plan your first registration

The various academic units at SU manage graduate student advising in different ways. In most units, graduate students are advised either shortly before they arrive on campus, or just after they do so. Then, they register via the University's web-based registration system. In some cases, however, an academic unit may register its students in advance of the semester. If you have not already received information about advising from your academic unit, you may wish to contact them to determine what their procedures are in this regard.
