Registration
Most new students may register starting Monday, August 6th. For information about registration, schedule adjustment, computer cluster help, late registration, etc., go to: http://registrar.syr.edu.
ID Cards
Graduate students may have SU ID card pictures taken at the Carrier Dome Gate E. To have your picture taken you must be registered for courses and have personal identification with you.
Opening Week Orientation Events
Tent on the Quad WELCOME CENTER
Information Fair and Refreshments
Date: Thursday, August 23
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location: On the Quad (rain location: Heroy Geology Laboratory lobby)
The Fair is an open forum at which students may gather information on
various services, events, and attractions offered by the University and local
community. All students are encouraged to stop by and enjoy complimentary
refreshments in the main lobby in Bowne Hall and under the tent on the
Quad.

Graduate Picnic
Saturday, August 25
4 p.m. – Midnight (after 8 p.m., 21 and older, please)
Kick off the year with your fellow graduate students at the Graduate Picnic. Enjoy outdoor food and fun!
The Inn Complete, South Campus (shuttle bus
is available at College Place bus shelter)
The picnic is sponsored by the Graduate Student Organization and the Graduate School.
