Hometown News Programs

Syracuse University's Office of Communications publicizes the achievements of SU students, faculty and staff by sending announcements to hometown, alumni and specialty news outlets. This well-received program has been instrumental in helping thousands of members of the SU community earn the recognition they deserve. Read more about the News Programs.

However, we want to remind you that if for any reason you do not want to participate in this program, you may take steps to prevent disclosure through the media. The process to follow is:

File a Request to Prevent Disclosure of Directory Information form with the Office of the Registrar (106 Steele Hall).
